Laundry

Why doesn't the laundry ever end???? I admit, I don't have much time to really concentrate on it during the week but I do get in the loads that are necessary. But on the weekend, I can do load after load and there's still giant piles in each bedroom. Is there some little laundry gremlin in the hampers adding to it??? I'm starting to think there is. Granted, when we can get Tristan to put on clothes (he is in a streaking phase right now), he tends to change his outfits many times a day. If he spills a little water or something he freaks out and has to put something dry on. Taylor is sort of that way too. She has an outfit for every occasion - going out to do something, for running around in the yard, hanging in her bedroom, etc. I guess they are my gremlins!

Speaking of streaking... while I was at the store today, Chance said he found Tristan on the trampoline showing his manhood to the little girls next door. He's very proud of his parts these days, and I can't wait until he finds modesty again. He even wanted to take his shirt off in the movies last nite!

He's also discovered Lucky Charms. He finally ate some because he saw the commerical for the new golden marshmallows. So he ate his bowl and then ran through the house pretending he was the leprechaun speading the golden marshmallows around. That was pretty funny and he did keep his clothes on for it.

Ice Age 2 was really cute. My only problem with it was that it has some cuss words in it and there wasn't really any need for them. I guess Disney was trying to appeal to the parents, but I would've liked it just fine without them. As I have a little parrot in my house, I really didn't want to add to the vocabulary.

Taylor went to visit her granddad and Mami (her mother's father and stepmother) today to go to church and celebrate Easter early. She doesn't get to see them much and we welcome any visit she can have with them. They are very nice people. Well she called us and told us she had a wreck on some sort of motorcylce or 3 wheeler. (They have some land in Norman where they just built a new house.) She freaked Chance out at first because she made him think she had broken her arm. He told her that was a very bad joke. But she is pretty scraped up all over her arms. Evidently she hit a bump and it sent her tumbling. I am very glad she is OK. It could've been so much worse.

Chance spent his day working on plans. He is extremely busy right now and that is a good thing. We were beginning to think no one wanted to do anything because of the drought. In the summer I'm a work widow and in the fall I'm a football widow. LOL But I am very thankful to have him home for it all. I so don't miss the days when he worked for someone else. Right now he's playing football on the computer. Looks like the Titans are winning.

I am really tired right now and should be working as I am so behind. But my brain doesn't want to work and I have to stay up to get more laundry done. So...I'm writing about my laundry so I don't fall asleep. My work just sits in my bag waiting for me to get started. I will not be a happy camper when I get to work tomorrow and see all that I didn't do. Oh well, that's life. I guess I'll go read my book. Oh wait... I hear the dryer buzzer! Woo hoo!

C ya later!
