I hate june bugs. They are disgusting. I never invited them to my backyard but they showed up anyway. EWWWWWW.

We do not have June Bugs in Tennessee. This makes me very happy because they really freaked me out as a child. Even stepping on them freaked me out.
However, every 7 years we get an insane infestation of Cicadas. I was in High School the first time this happened and it was the most miserable summer ever. They were everywhere- like inside my clothes sometimes. At least that was only every 7 years.
I don't think that I've ever seen a June Bug. But then, I've never spent all that much time outside in the summer either.
